Behind every award a company receives, there’s a team of people who showed up, did the work, and made it happen. Last week, owner John St. Germain took his staff out for a well-deserved luncheon at Longo’s in Stouffville to celebrate exactly that.
The occasion? A pair of prestigious recognitions — our Readers’ Choice 2025 Diamond Winner awards for Best of Markham and Best of Stouffville, along with our earlier 2025 Community Votes Platinum recognition in Markham. Two separate programs. Two communities. One team making it all possible.
A Moment to Say Thank You
John has always believed that Unionville Heating’s success is a team effort. The technicians who arrive on time in every season, the office staff who coordinate service calls and take care of customers from the first phone call — every person on the team plays a role in delivering the standard of service that Markham and Stouffville residents have come to count on.
The luncheon was a chance to step away from the day-to-day and recognize what’s been accomplished — together. Whether it’s a furnace that needs emergency repair in January, or an air conditioner that gives out on the hottest week of July, it’s the reliability of this team that keeps customers coming back and recommending Unionville Heating to their neighbours.
Four Decades of Service, Still Going Strong
Unionville Heating has been serving residential customers in Markham, Unionville, and Stouffville since 1985 — over 40 years of honest, dependable HVAC service. Awards like these are a reflection of that consistency, but more importantly, they’re a reflection of the people who carry that tradition forward every day.
